If I could give these less than 1 star I would. The suede sole is poor (reminds me of shredded cardboard), construction of the shoe is very stiff and causes pain in the heel. I prefer the C1643, however, both items scratch your toes due to the metal gromets used in the lace holes. I purchased them because I enjoyed the whimsical design and enjoy the C Series type shoe however did not expect the quality to be so dramatically different from it's slightly higher end sister.

Absolute LOVE!
One of the only pairs of dance shoes that I've ever owned in which I didn't have pure agony and pain in breaking them in! As soon as I got them, I was able to put them on and wear them for hours dancing, with no pain! Most comfy dance shoe ever! I will totally buy these again.
